- Strategy
- Takes trades in the direction of a bias-timeframe candle closure once a structure-timeframe closure and an entry-timeframe CISD line up.
- Risk model
- Fixed % risk per trade, broker-side stop beyond the protected swing and target, one trade at a time, decisions on bar close.
What it does
The Expert Advisor version of the Fractal Candle Model indicator, using exactly the same rules. It trades only when three timeframes agree: a bias closure, a structure closure and a CISD on the entry timeframe.
How it works
- Bias: a Candle 2 or Candle 3 closure on the bias timeframe at a point of interest (swing or fair value gap).
- Structure: a matching closure on the structure timeframe.
- Entry: a change in the state of delivery on the entry timeframe inside the active higher-timeframe candle.
- Stop: beyond the protected swing the CISD closed through. Target: untaken higher-timeframe highs or lows.
- One trade at a time, decisions on bar close, broker-side stop and target.
How to use it
Attach it to any chart of the symbol; the EA reads the profile's timeframes itself. Start with the Day profile, which produces fewer but cleaner setups than the Scalp profile.
Settings
| Input | Default | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Profile | Day | Timeframe trio |
| Custom bias / structure / entry TF | D1 / H4 / M15 | Used when the profile is Custom |
| Bias POI mode | 2 | Strictness of the point of interest |
| Swing lookback | 5 | Swing definition |
| Candle 3 closures | true | Adds a second closure type |
Limitations
It trades rarely and will sit flat for days on the Day profile. Discretionary confirmations from the course (SMT divergence, PSP) are not part of the rules.
Before you run it live
Run it in the Strategy Tester on several years and several symbols, then on a demo account. Check that your broker's stop level allows the stops the EA calculates on lower profiles.
