FXPIPS ONLINE is an independent educational website about the foreign exchange market. We build free calculators, structured lessons, a plain-English glossary and market explainers for people who want to understand how forex works before, or instead of, risking any money.
The site is operated from India. Our goal is simple: make the mechanics of currency markets clear, accurate and easy to check for yourself.
What we offer
- Calculators and tools. The Pip Calculator, Position Size Calculator, Margin Calculator, Risk-Reward Calculator and others show you the arithmetic behind a trade, step by step.
- Lessons. A course that runs from What is forex? through technical analysis to fundamental analysis and portfolio risk.
- Glossary. Short definitions of terms such as pip, leverage and margin call, each with a practical example.
- Market explainers. Pages on instruments such as gold, the US Dollar Index and crude oil that explain what drives them and how they are quoted.
- Practice tools. A trading journal and a trading simulator that run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter in them is sent to our servers.
What we are not
FXPIPS ONLINE is not a broker, does not execute trades, does not hold client money and does not provide personalised investment advice. We do not tell anyone what to buy or sell. Everything on this site is general educational information.

How we work
- Original writing. Our lessons and articles are written in-house by the FXPIPS Editorial Desk. We check every worked example so the arithmetic is correct.
- No live-price claims. Market data shown on the site comes from public reference or delayed sources, described on our Data Sources page. It is never a live, executable quote.
- No hype. We do not publish profit promises, testimonials or "secret strategies".
- Privacy by default. We have no user accounts. Analytics are off by default, and advertising and affiliate links are disabled by default. If affiliate links are ever enabled, they are always labelled.
